Moneybird is the bookkeeping tool of choice for a lot of Dutch small businesses, property operators included. It is clean, well suited to local requirements, and like every accounting tool it assumes somebody will enter the data.

In a rental business that assumption breaks seasonally. Summer produces the most transactions and the least time to record them, so the entry gets deferred to autumn, by which point attributing a cost to the right property is guesswork.

Connecting Moneybird moves recording to the moment of the cost. Supplier invoices and cleaning costs land against the right property while everyone still knows what they were for, and invoices go out built from real activity rather than reconstructed later. The autumn catch-up becomes a review of entries that already exist instead of an archaeology exercise across a summer nobody documented.

Moneybird connects through OAuth, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
2. Search for Moneybird and select Connect.
3. Sign in to Moneybird and approve access to your administration.
4. Ask what is outstanding to confirm the connection works.

• Moneybird stays the system of record. Your ledgers and VAT settings are unchanged.
• If you run several administrations, connect the right one.
• ProhostAI records transactions; VAT filing remains yours or your accountant’s.
• Revoking ProhostAI in Moneybird’s settings ends access immediately.
