Miro

Miro is where planning happens visually: mapping a guest journey, redesigning a turnover process, working out how a new building will be operated.

The output has a short life. A board is excellent during the session and nearly useless a month later, because nothing on it turned into work anybody owns.

Connecting Miro helps bridge that. Boards can be read and items created or updated, which makes it easier to turn what a session decided into tracked work elsewhere — rather than leaving a beautiful canvas nobody has opened since.

Treat it as retrieval rather than interpretation. A person looking at a board understands the layout; reading its content gives you what was written, which is usually enough to act on but is not the same as understanding the picture.

Once Miro is connected, ProhostAI works with your boards and items in plain language.

Read

• Read a board Pull the content of a board so what it decided can be acted on. "What came out of the turnover workshop board?"
• Find boards Locate a board by name or subject.

Create & update

• Create boards and items Set up a board or add items to an existing one.
• Update items Amend content as thinking changes.

Miro connects through OAuth, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
2. Search for Miro and select Connect.
3. Sign in to Miro and approve the permissions.
4. Ask about one of your boards to confirm it works.

• Access follows the connected account’s team and board permissions.
• Visual boards read imperfectly — spatial meaning that is obvious to a person is not always recoverable from the content.
• The value is in getting decisions off the board and into tracked work.
