Channex

Channex is channel-management infrastructure, often sitting underneath another product rather than being the thing an operator logs into. Its job is keeping availability and rates correct across channels, and it does that job invisibly when it works.

Invisible infrastructure has an interesting consequence: it makes the remaining visible work more obvious. When distribution is reliable, the part of the operation still consuming human attention is unmistakably the guest conversation.

Connecting Channex gives that conversation the same treatment the calendar already gets. Bookings arrive, the AI answers from them, and the operational work each stay creates gets scheduled without anyone transcribing dates.

Rates and availability stay entirely with Channex. ProhostAI reads what has been booked rather than participating in how it was distributed.

Channex connects with an API key from your Channex account, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. In Channex, generate an API key from your account settings.
2. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
3. Search for Channex, select Connect, and paste the key.
4. Wait for the first sync, then check your listings and upcoming reservations look right.
