Basecamp is deliberately unhurried — to-dos, message boards, docs, no sprints or burndowns. That suits property companies who want coordination without a methodology.

The calm has a cost. Nothing nags, so an out-of-date to-do list stays out of date indefinitely, and the message board becomes a record of the first two weeks of a project.

Connecting Basecamp lets it be updated by events instead of by discipline. To-dos get created as work is identified, completed items get ticked, and updates get posted where the team already reads them — without turning a calm tool into a demanding one.

The risk to watch is turning a deliberately quiet tool into a noisy one. Basecamp works because it does not nag, and an integration that posts everything into it would destroy the property that made it worth choosing.

Basecamp connects through OAuth, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
2. Search for Basecamp and select Connect.
3. Sign in to Basecamp and approve the permissions.
4. Ask what is outstanding on a project to confirm it works.

• Access follows the connected account’s project memberships.
• Basecamp stays the system of record for projects and discussion.
• Daily property operations usually belong in ProhostAI tasks instead.
